Offically the last day of summer!
So kay came back from HK on sat, which meant we had enough ppl to go to my fav beach (so far... yes yes, we know grand bend is amazing... but you still have to bring me there first so.. :P) again... although the conditions were slightly irregular, we still had an amazing time!... well mostly cuz sat was freezing (for summer weather) and it was pretty cold sun morning too, but i have to say, i am ubber grateful that it warmed up so much in the afternoon.. even if the sand wasnt hot and sizzling, the way i like it... anyways... wow the four of us (kay, ed, karen & myself) really just slept for like most of the time... lol (we didnt get there till like 3ish...) but it was still great never-the-less!
We actually built a sandcastle this time and i have to say, its not as good as the other one that someone else built... but hey, all we had was the top of a big jar to use as our "tool" and a plastic bag to carry water... hehehehe... we did however manage to have the weirdest "activities" with it... lol.... we dug a hole to store the water in and ed was obsessed about turning it into a "trap" where people would walk and fall in (it was actually almost waist height.. heheh) so i decided that we should make a video of the victim falling into the trap... hehehe.. the victim being me... LOL.... it was totally awesome... we laughed so hard while filming it and afterwards when we were watching it... i of course displayed the ubber awesomeness that is my acting skills while karen... decided that she would just laugh all the way... LOL.... (and hey, it was hard acting! pretending to not know there's a hole in the ground that your about to step in when really you know there's a hole! lol)
anyways, we went to jack astor's for dinner and i have to say... it was a huge disapointment... they erradicated like half their menu and had mebbe 1 thing of veggie.. also they started charging for the salad and garlic bread and it was no longer unlimited... east sides on the other hand had free salad/garlic bread, AND tones of food for veggies (veggie = vegetarian... ) but they were lucky, we were starving by the time we got there (starving from lying in the sun all day, imagine that! hehe) so we ate like absolutely everything.. i ordered the pan garlic bread... and as fat & greasy as it is.... OMG! it was soooooo goood!!! heheh...
afterwards, i had another brilliant brain blast and brought everyone to main street to hang out "after hours"... it was great! we hung out for like 2-3 hours just sitting there drinking and talking about everything that came into mind... truely the most relaxing day ever... now i know why white ppl take vacations so seriously (as oppose to asians which spend their days off @ malls, shopping, singing k, & doing everything!) because its great to just spend the day relaxing and hanging out!!! :)
anyways, truely, it was the great last day of summer (yes i know i started work already, but whatever...! it was a good way to end the summer!) however, i have to say... i think i might be allergic to the beach... for the 2nd or possibly 3rd time now that the day after = stuffy/runny/higher than normal temperature..... i dunno why... i know i have allergies to like outside stuff... but i havent had a test yet... mebbe i should... cuz its so weird.... or mebbe its cuz ive been spending so much time inside for past decade or two that my body isnt use to a full concentrated day outside and that it's killing me... ahahahahahhaha!
pics in next post.... as for woodbine pics... since i didnt take the majority of the pics, im still waiting for the relevant people to send it to me... which might take a decade or two....! hehe
